Uprising
When someone new walks through the doors of Revolution or comes to a Newcomer's Brunch, they are often wondering, "What makes Revolution different? What is Revolution all about?" What they want to know is, "Where is Revolution going and what part do I play?"
Every year, we do a vision series where we lay out clearly what Revolution is all about. On August 25, we had a vision night where we celebrated where we've come from as a church and where we are going. This series, is going to be where we go into even more detail about being a church planting church, what it takes to saturate the city of Tucson with the gospel and how our move to Missional Communities will help to facilitate that.
We are calling the series:
We will look specifically at what the New Testament calls us followers of Jesus to be and do, what we are called to as a church and how we live that out 7 days a week. Church is not something we do on Saturday's, it is something we are 7 days a week.
Here is what the series looks like:
September 17: The Power & the Purpose of the Gospel
September 24: Our Identity as Family
October 1: Our Identity as Missionaries
October 8: Our Identity as Servants
October 15: Our Identity as Learners
October 22: More Than You Can Imagine

The last night of the series is going to be a special night. On October 22nd, Jeff Vanderstelt from Soma Communities, will be with us to wrap up our series and talk about how because of the power of the Holy Spirit living in us as followers of Jesus, we have the power to do all that God has commanded us to do. Soma has been instrumental in helping us with laying the foundation and plan to be a multiplying church all around the city of Tucson, as they are doing it in the Seattle area.
