Pastor Josh Reich discusses relevant topics with the Revolution Church community in Tucson, Arizona. Revolution is a diverse community of individuals who have abandoned the notion that life can and should be lived in isolation and that Christianity is just a belief system. We express ourselves uniquely and are united by our relationship with Christ.

Accidental (Hebrews 13)

The book of Hebrews was written to Jewish Christians who were being persecuted for their faith. They were thrown in prison, made fun of, sometimes killed for following Jesus. In the midst of this, they wanted to go underground, fade into the shadows. The writer of Hebrews writes to them, encouraging them to not quit, to stay above ground, to continue following Jesus in the midst of persecution. The reason: Jesus. He points to Jesus over and over as the reason to stick with it, to continue in the midst of persecution. He tells them, “It’s about Jesus. It’s always about Jesus. It’s only about Jesus.”

The writer of Hebrews writes to them, encouraging them to not quit, to stay above ground, continuing following Jesus in the midst of persecution. The reason: Jesus. He points to Jesus over and over as the reason to stick with it, to continue in the midst of persecution. He tells them, “It’s about Jesus. It’s always about Jesus. It’s only about Jesus.”

Life Doesn't End Here

The question of what happens after we die is we all wonder about at some point. Do we go somewhere immediately? Do we stay in the ground for eternity? Many of us live as if this as all there is, but what if there was more? What if life doesn’t end here? What if there is something after we die? Does that change anything? These are just a few of the questions we wrap up this series with.

Choose to Live

What if you found out that you only had 30 days left to live? Would that change anything? C.S. Lewis said, “The day you are born is the day you begin to die.” All of our lives are counting down whether we realize it or not. In that moment when we realize that, we make a choice: to either live life to the fullest or let life happen and slowly die. As we start our brand new series, Josh breaks down how to choose to live, how you choose to make the most of every moment, how to not miss anything to and be fully alive.

Becoming...Loving

All of us love people like us, but what about the people not like us? Are we supposed to love them? As we celebrate Christmas Eve, Josh shows that when Jesus came to earth, he came to show a new way forward, a new way to live and a new way to love. How would your life be different if you actually loved the people in your life, unconditionally? What if you loved the people who hurt you the most? What about the people not like you, what would happen if you became more loving?

We all worship something, whether we believe it or not. How do you know what you worship? Look at where you spend your time and money. Those are our two most important and personal commodities. Next question, are you worshiping the right things? In this message, Josh looks Genesis 22, where the word worship is used for the first time in the Bible to see how God defined worship from the beginning and what that means to us.
Becoming...Conspirators

To launch our series, Josh introduced something that Revolution will be a part of Christmas season: Advent Conspiracy. We live in a culture that is increasingly materialistic and consumerist. These values creep into our lives and into the church without us even noticing. What would happen in Christians celebrated Christmas the way it was intended: simple, giving gifts that mattered, giving money to people who really needed it, and keeping Jesus at the center. We would be conspirators if we did. How would your life be different if you became a conspirator?

No one gets married thinking they will get divorced, but the reality is that 50% of marriages will end in divorce and of the couples that stay married, only 2 out of 5 will be happy. That means you have a 20% chance of being happy. So how do you get in the 20%? Josh and Katie Reich break down the Song of Solomon to close this series and lay out some things they have learned, some of the pain they have had to go through to discover a marriage worth being in and how to survive marriage.

How Love Changes You (Song of Solomon 6:10 - 7:13)

Romance is something that builds and builds until the wedding day, but often dies like a fire in the rain after the wedding bells quiet, but it is still a crucial part of a healthy marriage. Men and women look at this differently, and need something different from each other. God lays out how to find your spouse’s heart and keep it.

The Greatest Sex You'll Ever Have (Song of Solomon 3:6 - 5:1)

In our culture, sex is seen as a god instead of a gift. It often described as just a man thing, or something you have to do once you get married, or as the reward you get for getting married. God created us as sexual beings and created men and women with a desire for sex. But what does that look like? God gives specific principles of what sex is supposed to look like and how to have the most satisfying sex life possible.

Attraction (Song of Solomon 1:9 - 2:7)

Marriages crumble because men and women do not know how to communicate to each other. We fall in love, but after marriage, things seem to fall off.
Waiting for Love (Song of Solomon 1:1 - 8)

In movies, dating and falling in love look so easy, but in real life it can be complicated and painful. In most churches, the message is only “Don’t have sex before marriage.” What if there was more to it than that? Does the Bible have more than that to say about dating and falling in love?

Sex and the City of God (Ephesians 5:33)

All of us would agree that men and women think, act, communicate and feel differently. They bring those differences into relationships and marriages. This is the beauty of marriage, but can also be the heartache in marriages. What if there was one thing that was the core need of men and women, that if met, would make all the difference?
