What do you do at Revolution?
I am the lead pastor at Revolution Church which means I get to lead the leadership team and oversee all that happens at Revolution. I also preach most Sundays at Revolution, lead the elder team and spend a lot of time vision casting and developing other leaders.

Experience
I have a Master's Degree in Organizational Leadership and started Revolution Church in 2008 with 11 other people. I speak around the country on the topics of church planting, marriage, leadership health, preaching and church leadership. I have a book that released last year called Breathing Room: Stressing Less and Living More. If I can help you by speaking at an event or a conference, go here to start that process. And you can read more from me on marriage, leadership, preaching, and health at my blog.

Tell us about your family.
I've been married to Katie since 2002 and we have 5 kids (1 girl and 4 boys). Our house tends to be loud, fun and always an adventure!

What do you do for fun?
A weekly date night with Katie, playing with my kids, watching movies, rooting for the Steelers.  Most of fun time revolves around being with Katie and our kids. Whether that is hiking, escaping the heat on Mt. Lemmon, grabbing a nap whenever possible, or cheering loudly for our beloved Steelers. You can also usually find me doing Crossfit with Katie in our garage, reading a good book, watching something on ESPN or the NFL Network,

What bands are you listening to right now?
Life is rarely silent for me because of how much I love music. Some current favorites are The National, John Mark McMillian, Stars, Explosions in the Sky, Josh Garrels, Lost in the Trees, Bon Iver and The Head and the Heart. Unless I'm doing Crossfit and then it tends to be loud.

Who are your favorite authors?
I love a good novel and pretty much anything by Tim Keller, John Piper, Andy Stanley, and any leadership book. You can see the latest books I've read HERE
