We all have things in our past. Things we wish we could go back and relive so that we can change them, and things we want to forget and never relive.

But there they are.

Labels given to us, stories passed down to us, hurts, sins, betrayal, abuse, divorce, and pain. They lead to worry, anxiety, not trusting people, not trusting God. They make us work harder for approval, strive for control or push people away so we don't get hurt.

And yet no matter what we seem to do, our past comes back.

For many, the most wonderful time of the year isn't so wonderful. A painful past or our own insecurities can overshadow the joy we’re supposed to be feeling during Christmas. What if this year could look different? It’s time to let God heal the Ghosts of Christmas Past.
