After you’ve experienced Revolution on a Saturday night and discover a desire to practice community with us, you may find yourself curious about where to get connected. Here are a few ideas:
Community
Community is more than just a buzzword at Revolution, and community is one of the three things Revolution holds as foundational. We were created by God to be in community and to need each other. Deep down each of us desire to know and be known, to love and be loved and as people created for relationships find we are incomplete without community. Baptism
After becoming a follower of Jesus, baptism is the next step. Baptism is the chance to publically announce that you are part of this Revolution that Jesus started and that you are letting everyone know of your desire to follow Him. By being baptized, you are showing outwardly, what God has done in you. For more information, questions or getting baptized, please contact .
Partnership
Some churches call this membership. We feel like that sounds like a country club and brings up images of clean, cut grass, picket fences and waterfalls. At Revolution we feel we are called to a partnership, because we believe that in order to fulfill the mission God calls us on, it will take more than just members to make it happen. It will take people who are partnering with God and each other. Members sit back and take; partners get their hands dirty and get involved.
When you take the step to become a partner, you are saying “this is my church and I am committing to using my gifts to serve here”. Each partner commits to certain things, and the community commits certain things to that partner. We are in this together to share in challenges and celebrate the blessings.
